Born 1942. Started collecting toys.
Attended Lincoln College of Art. Tutors: Tony Bartl, Bob Blatherwick & Hugh Robinson.
Attended Hornsey College of Art. Tutors: Gordon House, Ron Ingles & Derek Nice.
Employed as an art assistant on the (then new) Telegraph Colour Supplement, working under the art director (who became a photographer) Hans Feurer.
Left with Hans to begin a career in advertising.
Started as an art director at Pritchard Wood & Partners, the first of six advertising agencies before joining Saatchi & Saatchi.
(Married Patti - had two wonderful kids, Nick & Kate.)
Left, after spending thirteen happy years with them, (Saatchi's, not the wife & kids) with a
collection of industry awards.
Then a further seven years spent with three other London agencies, picking up a few more awards.
Time to retire from full time advertising. Discovered Cornwall. Moved to Cornwall.
Became a part-time tutor at University College Falmouth - returned to painting and printmaking.
